How to print a sublimation notebook with sublimation printing – Dye Sublimation Supplies
Find all of our products on our website:

And all notebooks and file folders are available here:

Today, we’re going to print a sublimation notebook. The printing instructions are the same for the iphone flip covers, other notebooks sizes and also the file folders.
Firstly, make sure you remove any silica gel sachet and the notepaper pad that comes with the notebook. This will ensure that they don’t cause problems while pressing.
Then, attach your printed image onto the notebook. Our images are all printed using a Ricoh SG7100DN, SubliJet-R Inks and Jet Stream Sublimation Transfer Paper. We are printing our logo onto the notebook and, to add a little bit of protection to the fabric of the case that isn’t sublimation friendly, we’ve left a blank part of the transfer paper overlapping it.
Once you have secured the image with some thermal tape, place the printable flap in the press, we are using the Stahls’ MAXX Press. You’ll need quite a bit of pressure for anything similar; the temperature should be set at 200°C and the timer for 65 seconds. Remember that times and temperatures may differ slightly depending on whether you pre-press, use a different make of heat press or press in a particularly cold or damp environment.
Once the timer has finished, remove the notebook from the press and remove the transfer paper from the notebook. Once it has cooled down, slip the notepaper back into the slot.
