Description

The Sun Angel laser transfer printing system available from www.subli.co.uk, for printing onto black / dark coloured Tshirts, hoodies, workwear, hi vis jackets, polo shirts and much more.

This is a no weed process, with a very low start up cost, very competitive consumables costs, stunning results & great wash fastness.

If you can't see the text on the video (which is the case with some devices), what we're doing is printing the colour first, mirrored, then printing the same image but in white, on the white printer, to print a white mask over the colour. Then we place the adhesive sheet over the print, and run through a laminator. Next we fold a corner of the adhesive sheet to make the next step easier - and then we press for 30-40 seconds at 120-130 degrees C.

You'll need to do a bit of experimenting with your heat press to find the sweet spot for you - but a heads up, if you have a budget chinese press, you may want to contact us first info@subli.co.uk to request a few sample transfers, so you can double check that your press will be up to the task. Whereas with some processes such as dye sublimation you can often get away with not having perfect platen heat distribution & a perfectly straight platen, and a wider temperature range - with laser transfer processes the quality of the heat press is very important. We recommend Adkins, George Knight, Transmatic & Stahls, all of which are available from www.subli.co.uk

Then we hot peel the adhesive sheet from the transfer media, and then cut out the transfers. We always trip the edges of the A4 transfer paper before cutting out the transfers as you can get some flecks of white on the very outside edge that will transfer onto the garment if you don't trim it.

Then we press the transfer onto the garment, same time & temp but this is a cool peel process, so we leave the garment for roughly 40-60 seconds for the garment to cool, and then we peel.
